become a sponsor of the first annual, "A Home for Christmas" event, which is designed to benefit the programs and services the CLHC provides to homeless persons, and to promote and educate the community about the increasing number of unhoused persons in Central Louisiana.

About the event

As a sponsor, we are requesting a donation of a fully decorated, lighted, 7-foot tree that will be included in an auction that evening. Your tree will be part of a competition with participants voting for 1st, 2nd, and 3a" place with each winner receiving abeautiful hand- crafted inaugural ornament created by local artist Cindy Blair.  The evening will also include delicious appetizers, a cash bar, and music by HB Smith.  Lance Harris wil be serving as our auctioneer. Your sponsorship wil also include six free tickets to attend the event, view, and bid on the beautifully decorated trees. (Each sponsor wil also be asked to open the bid on their tree with a $250 minimum bid).  Christmas is a time when people return home to share their love and blessings with their family and friends. With this first cool front and rain our clients will be in need of light jackets, hoodies, hats, gloves and sweat shirts.  Rain ponchos, chap stick, backpacks and duffel bags.  


GENTLY USED AND CLEAN OR NEW ITEMS ARE APPRECIATED.  


We are open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Friday after 12:30 p.m. the doors are locked for administrative work time, please call in advance if you would like to drop off then.
